Every company looking for a dynamic profile – and which one doesn't? – should communicate efficiently and consistently. That’s why establishing and applying a clear brand identity is one of ARK’s specialities. For instance, we developed a corporate identity for milling enterprise Ceres with an instantly recognizable pattern and ditto graphical elements, which from now on will be used in all communication: from the flour bags, the product files and a Ceres folder with four informative booklets to the newsletter 'Contact'.
16.03.2012 ARK makes waves with OKAY on TV /
Young innovative and creative, just like the range of OKAY products themselves. That, in a nutshell, describes the brand new TV spots for OKAY Meubelen. Thanks to their cheerful stop-motion style they are not only great to look at, but they are also a great invitation for viewers to pop into OKAY. This youthful brand now has six stores in Belgium and it wanted to shout it from the rooftops. Right up ARK’s street. They spiced up the marketing layouts adding the right style, lively colours and a minimalist, youthful identity. “Okay Meubelen is at a crossroads,” said Ben Verleysen, managing director of ARK. “The brand wants to pull out all the stops in its communications. Over the past two years we have focused mainly on the values of this growing market and on building up our own identity. Now that we have these solid foundations, we have started working on creating total exposure that is built around values such as ‘lots of choice’, ‘the right price’, and of course, the slogan ‘My Choice of Living’. A line that we intend to roll out seriously in all future communications.’

Thursday 19 April is the day that the city of Ghent has chosen for its fourth late night shopping special. The theme this time round is ‘flowers’. ARK thought long and hard about a powerful and convincing image for this late night shopping campaign. And the result is a surprising layout that will now adorn all the communications promoting Ghent’s late night shopping.

Krëfel Kitchens will of course be present at the annual high mass of the building sector. This time it has come out again with a very wide assortment of fitted kitchens, designed to fit in with everyone’s budget and to suit everyone’s taste and that are in line with the latest trends. ARK has also blended just the right proportions of communications ingredients into a striking new spring campaign. How do you translate a hospitality/catering services specialist such as ISPC’s offer into one simple but creative concept image with a clear message? This was the challenge presented to ARK. We went fishing in our creative pond and caught a powerful image: a fish, composed entirely of products that can be found in ISPC extensive range. The visual, loaded with cuteness, puts ISPC in the market with a very specific target audience. 100% according to the briefing, with 100% satisfaction as the final result.
26.01.2012 ARK and the City of Ghent: strong together! /
Ghent, you say? A beautiful city, with a rich patrimony and architecturally astonishing buildings. Sadly enough Ghent suffers from a lot of vacancies and many of those beautiful houses are crumbling. The city’s Dienst Economie (Economy Department) noticed this as well. That's why the idea emerged to use remarkable visuals to liven up the streets and to draw the attention of potential investors or new merchants. After a competition involving 8 (!) agencies, ARK made it to the finish line. We developed three 'animalesque’ images that will soon be introduced in the streets of Ghent. You will not be able to miss them!

Here at ARK we’re not scared of a dentist’s pinprick. On the contrary. Recently we have audaciously taken care of a major part of Septodont’s business-to-business communication. This company is an international player and has 75 years of experience in developing and producing innovative products for dental professionals. … and that’s still the case today; but not at Cavalier. Cavalier is the first chocolatier in Belgium to create chocolate using the sweetening agent from the stevia plant. The result: sweet, delicious chocolate, with no added calories. A delicious and healthy pluspoint, that ARK has blended together with exactly the right ingredients to create an excellent communications strategy. ARK provided advice on creating all the corporate and print communications and also got its teeth into the concept one result of which was the tasteful slogan “Once upon a time there was chocolate that contained sugar”. And Cavalier got an effective and stylish web module. ARK and its PR partner also ensured an efficient and consistent roll-out of the current campaign. Apart from a neat, logically created and 200 pages thick catalogue, the tools comprise leaflets, motion graphics, point-of-sale, social media and a stylish, brand-new web module. Especially designed for Batibouw, we worked out a novel image that perfectly harmonized with the character of the company’s striking display stand, a number of notable promotions and radio commercials and diverse point-of-sale materials. And with its brand-new imaginative decorations for the coastal tram, Krefel Keukens is already setting the right tone for a successful summer season.

For Eternit, as an example, we designed a digital colour selector/simulator that attracted more than a little attention at the Batibouw expo. Ark ends the holiday season with palatable news. After a pitch involving four agencies,
Krëfel Keukens decided to award its budget to the advertising company from Rupelmonde. Consequently, starting from 1 September this year Belgium will become aware of the fact that besides electrical appliances, Krëfel also offers high-quality kitchens tailored to suit, an activity they started 13 years ago and which is currently manifest in 27 of their 71 stores.
Krëfel Keukens’ autumn burst will start with bumpers around the TV programmes ‘
Komen eten’ (a VT4 broadcast) and ‘
Un diner presque parfait’(aired by RTL). The campaign will then continue with radio ads, print ads, point-of-sale promotions, folders and online advertising.

10.03.2010 Eternit /
Eternit pays a lot of attention to eco-friendly building and renovation. To emphasize that, the company was a noticeable presence at the Batibouw expo with an eye-catching 'ecological house', designed by ARK. A strong, and for the visitor very interesting POS structure with a high attention value, in which Eternit was able to show off all basic information regarding its products and ecological applications.
